Last few days in Antigua

We are down to our last few days in Antigua and I have come to realize my only other blog post is just some emojis. So here’s a little summary of how it’s been for me thus far.

Language school has been going well. I feel I’ve been learning a lot and becoming more comfortable speaking and writing in Spanish. My teacher, Carolin, is so sweet. Everyone calls us “las colochas” which is a term I think they only use here, but it means girls with curly hair. We’ve gone to a few dance classes that have been so fun. Although they’ve been difficult for me at some points, I love to dance and move my body in ways I don’t normally. We plan to go to another class tomorrow night that some may be surprised to hear I’m excited for. Of course I can’t write a blog without mentioning the dogs here. I just wanna rescue them all and take them home with me. They’re just lil babies and I wanna give them all the good food and pets they deserve. I knew coming here would be good for me and a nice change of pace from the Miami hustle lifestyle and it has been just that. I am so so grateful for the experiences I have had so far and eternally grateful for the people I’ve got to share them with.

Here’s a sneak peek into my camera roll since being here in Antigua:
